Really good course and somewhat challenging. Greens were fast and in good condition. The only negative is that this course has no food beverage service. I only saw water and Gatorade inside. I think they should look into that. I would come back if I lived in Atlanta.
Great value and quality for a municipal course. My go-to public course in town.
The course was nice for a public course. Nice range, nice greens. BUT… the other golfers were trash. The pace of play was so bad and slow. If your a slower group that’s fine let faster groups play thru. We were waiting at least 10 min on each tee box on the back9. We finally passed 3 groups on 16 and while we were getting ready to tee off they drove up the side of the tee box and went to the silver y
Tees and cut us off. So rude and disrespectful to other golfers. Terrible sportsmanship.
This is the City of Atlanta course that I play when I want a serious round of golf. Straightforward layout, good conditions, and friendly staff although there aren’t many of them. The people that play here are serious about golf, which helps pace of play. I walk, so I appreciate that they keep the water coolers full.
The course is next to the South River, so it’s a little soggy after a heavy rain. Seems like the driving range (only one on the Forepass plan) is closed half the time, because they can’t run the picker.
I had a fun time playing golf then. This course was really good. Everything was perfect to me except my score. Haha
Anyway If there is somebody thinking about which golf course is good to play, I would recommend here!
It's an Atlanta municipal golf course that's fairly priced. We used an online coupon. Some of the other courses in their system are only 9 holes or are executive courses. It's maintained well, though like most of the others, in the fall it could use some water. Some holes are fairly open, but in general is a fun course that I'd play again.

Great city course! I've been coming here for years and it's still good and challenging. Fairly flat, so it's walkable. Has a few really long holes that are tough. Overall the greens are in pretty good shape for summer time. I'll keep coming back!
Played browns mill today for the first time and I was very impressed. Course is in great shape, staff are so friendly and accommodating. I showed up at 5 pm with no tee time and they got me on the course right away at the best price I’ve paid for 18 anywhere in atlanta. Best course in the city.
The course was awesome and the hospitality top notch. The only concern was whether the cart was going to make it. I will definitely play this course again. Great challenges had a awesome day.
